Metaphor for the business
To help us with our web design we ask our clients for a metaphor that describes their business. It helps us bring consistency to the different pages. This is difficult when selling intrinsic services like legal advice. Laura a Legal Tips company founders came up with this idea. “Bridging The Gap” between no legal representation and ongoing costly legal representation. From the initial metaphor, a refined photo search resulted in friendly images of families holding hands and crossing wooden bridges. These commercial photos were then bought by our client. We ensure that our clients own the rights to the photos that are on their website. These images can also be used in other marketing material. Continuity between pages is very important. Your potential clients sublimely adopt the smooth progression between the pages of information. A bumpy ride of unrelated images can’t put your potential customers off your products and services.
Branding a new company websites
Designing a Logo for LegalTips Legal advice Reading “Friendly Legal Advice and Tips”. We took the scales of justice and curved the base into a smile. Surrounding the face / scales with a speech bubble. A very friendly logo. Fuchsia pink was picked as the background colour. The logo was created in Inkscape as an SVG, we carefully completed the logos metadata: keywords and description. Please see Logo SEO article.

So, getting an image to number 1 within a month is not impossible! If you do not believe me type “Legal advice Reading” into google images. When the correct file type is used with all the correct metadata complete, google will notice your logo. Speed is especially important to mobile SEO; this logo is only 13KB that is a tiny file!
